Software Developer in Test

, OR Software and Services Group's Graphics Performance Analyzers team is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to be a member of an Agile software development team supporting the Graphics Performance Analyzers product development. Candidates should have a strong background in Windows, C/C++/C# programming/debugging and scripting languages like Perl/Python. A background in game development or other graphics application development is desired. Understanding of and experience with the DirectX or OpenGL APIs is required. Familiarity with Agile, Test Driven Development, and Continuous Integration are also required. Behavioral traits for this position include: self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills.

You will work as an integral member of the Agile software team with a focus on validating the quality and interoperability of new features. This will involve the development of automated unit/feature tests, root causing issues found and providing fixes for them as applicable. The ability to work directly with peers to design, write, and review implementation and test code is expected.

Qualifications

* M.S. in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or BS in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience. * 2+ years of experience in the following skills are required for the position: o Strong Windows, C/C++/C# and Perl/Python skills o Exposure to the DirectX or OpenGL graphics APIs * 1+ years of experience in the following skills are required for the position: o Experience with Pair Programming, Test driven Development, and Continuous Integration o Experience delivering software product o Experience using the Agile / Scrum development process o Understanding of and experience with 3D graphics pipeline including vertex, geometry, and pixel shaders o Understanding of and experience with frame based graphics performance analysis

Desired Experience & Skill Set * Experience with game development * Exposure to Linux and Android operating systems is a plus
