Senior Software Test Engineer

Responsibilities • Collaborates actively on small, product (not department) centric team • Creates and executes manual and automated User Acceptance tests • Validates reported bugs and bug fixes • Performs manual exploratory testing • Troubleshoots back-end data and environment issues • Helps develop test and automation strategies • Develops, executes, and maintains test automation framework and test suites • Participates in software requirements and design discussions • Assists other product teams with automation advice

Required Skills and Experience • 5+ years experience in software quality assurance • Expertise with various testing methodologies and QA processes • Experience designing, developing, and improving test strategies and plans • Hands-on experience with both black box and gray box testing • Experience testing n-tier web and desktop applications • Experience in developing automated test procedures • Good understanding of XML, HTML, HTTP, HTTPS • Working knowledge of SQL and data structures • Working knowledge of at least one script language (vb/powershell) • Experience developing test automation frameworks in C# • Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering quality products
