Software QA Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

* Perform manual testing

* Plan, organize, document as well as lead a testing effort on or within a project

* Review and analyze project Software Requirement Specifications

* Actively participate in project scheduling and test planning

* Execute testing assignments, document and provide testing results into defect tracking system.

* Design, develop, and maintain appropriate test documentation including Quality Plans, Test Plans, Test Requirements, and Test Cases.

* Collaborate with team members.

* Actively participate in bug tracking meetings with developers to re-create and correct defects

* Help identify areas for team or process improvement

* 2 plus years experience in software testing

* Experience testing a windows based desktop application

* Working knowledge of HP Quality Center

* General knowledge of testing concepts.

* Good teamwork and communication

* Good interpersonal skills.

* High attention to detail.
