Software QA Engineer III

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Engineer for our Platform Team. The successful candidate will be a bright, resourceful test engineer who possess the knack to do "what if?" testing that finds design and usability issues early in the life cycle. The candidate must be a team player who is able to design, configure and develop complex automated tests. In this role, the selected candidate will:

Develop, Review and improve existing test plans to improve functional coverage, gaps in prior testing and regressions Execute manual testing on applications to understand what must be automated Track and communicate testing/development status Partner with Engineering to plan for new functionality, resolve defects, and incorporate fault isolation test methodologies for automation.

Qualifications

Independent, hard working, creative, focused, and organized Good understanding of the software development process, software design, data flow and bottlenecks Flexibility to work on multiple project streams simultaneously Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Highly Desired Skills:

Experience in the NAS/SAN Storage Environment Five or more years working in Storage Expertise in networking or storage across multiple operating systems, including Windows and various UNIX/Linux based platforms QA Background
