Test Spec/Verification Engineer
- Develop production test specifications for Environmental Stress
Screening and Product Acceptance Testing for complex electronic
systems.
- Develop and assist in executing validation plans and procedures for
automated test equipment (hardware & software) and UUT embedded test SW.
- Perform component based test coverage analysis/participate in
functional based test coverage anaylsis events for tested products.
- Interface with internal organizations (Electrical Design,
Software Systems, Systems Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Test
Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering) and
customers to create, review, and obtain acceptance of production test
specifications for HS products.
Ideal candidates would have an MSEE or BSEE/BSEET with 5+ years work experience.
Understanding of analog and digital circuit design concepts and analysis tools, and experience/knowledge in complex electronic product acceptance and environmental testing.
- Electrical circuit/Systems design experience (analog & digital)
- Understanding of system level performance requirements
- Tool familiarity:Telelogic DOORS, Concept/Cadence, Visio, MSOffice
- Experience in product troubleshoot and support, understanding of
manufacturing quality issues a plus
- Familiarity with embedded test software concepts and test partitioning
between test systems and UUTs.
- Familiarity with engineering generated documents (Customer Requirements
Documents, Hardware Requirement Specifications, Software Requirement
Specifications, Hardware User's Manuals)
- Familiarity with automated test equipment and production test
strategies
This position is within the Test Engineering group, performing a task that for many years has been a function of the Design Engineering groups.
