Quality Assurance Engineer

Requirements Requirements for this position include: • Support manufacturing in daily receiving inspection quality activities. • Provide receiving inspection, sampling and testing of incoming parts and materials per statistical sampling plans. • Provide documentation of sampling and inspection activities, effectively communicating results to purchasing, manufacturing and quality. • Maintain control of non-conforming material by ensuring proper control and identification. • Assist in the implementation and resolution of non-conformance reports. • Support quality and organizational initiatives as it relates to the organization or to individual’s goals and objectives.

Qualifications include: • Have at least 4 years of experience in receiving inspection in a regulated industry. • Must have knowledge and experience in ISO and FDA Medical Quality Systems. • Experience and knowledge in the use of PCs and computers and software such as, MS Word and Excel. • Must possess problem solving and analytical skills. • Experience in inspection methods, techniques and data collection. • Must be able to meet goals and deadlines, and analyze reports. • Must be able to work and communicate in a diverse team environment. • Handle multiple tasks, keep records current, and have excellent planning skills. • Certifications in the areas of quality auditing, inspecting or IPC-A-610 areas are a plus.
