QA Engineer

Responsibilities: The candidate will be part of a core team forging best-in-class, next-generation networking products. The role includes EVT and DVT of SAN product/modules, developing automated tools and test cases with comprehensive coverage of storage application APIs and services. The candidate will work closely with other software engineers and SQE in Qualifying FabricStream software stack on AD2500 and AD4010 platform. B.S. in CS or EE required. 2+ years of related industry experience with knowledge of SCSI, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel protocols. Must have exposure to storage management principles and functions in SAN. Must be familiar with software development of automated test tools for SQE and possess software testing and quality engineering experience. Working knowledge of C and Perl scripting. Candidate must have good communication skills and teamwork.

Requirements: Experience in at least one test harness system using scripting languages like Perl on Unix and Windows. Good understanding of SAN and IP network protocols, storage virtualization concepts. Exposure to storage applications such as volume management, backup, data migration, and snapshots is a plus. Proficiency in SAN and LAN lab, including the use of FC and Ethernet protocol analyzer, is highly desirable.
