Software Test Analyst I

Position Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES – • Participate in the test planning process • Develop Test Case/Procedure Specifications • Assist with the development of automated Test Scripts • Execute automated Test Scripts • Execute integration and system level Test Case/Procedures • Identify and log defects • Assist with writing defect reports • Assist with the development of test data • Assist with the verification of Requirements and Design Specifications

Position Requirements

SKILLS –Individual must be able to establish strong working relationships across all groups of the company. The successful candidate must be able to perform each essential duty, with minimal supervision, partnering with clients and others, to achieve a high degree of efficiency and quality. Candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication, and organizational skills. Must be able to work independently but still have a ‘team player attitude’. It is vital that the individual has demonstrated proficiency in the quality and quantity of: • Test Case/Procedures • Identified Defects • Defect Reports

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE – To perform this job successfully, an individual must have at least one year of experience supporting or working within a software development environment, and industry deposit or operations banking. A Bachelor of Science is required but may be substituted with related work experience. Formal training in software development life cycle (SDLC) and software test life cycle (STLC) are also preferred.
